What the role is
What you will be working on
1. Research, development and implementation of architectural, environmental and urban design planning strategies of the Greater Sentosa Master Plan.
2. Work with internal divisions, planning agencies and stakeholders to help drive architectural and precinct planning initiatives including urban design, architectural conservation, heritage management, sustainable design and landscape architecture efforts.
3. Carry out design research, develop concept ideas, content narratives and feasibility studies.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of precinct master planning, urban design/ streetscape guidelines and architectural design parameters to guide planning and development works.
5. Assist in the conduct of stakeholders’ engagements to gather feedback.
6. Prepare tender documents for calling of tender and/or construction for precinct studies and design services.
7. General project management and coordination including management of contracts and service agreements with consultants and contractors for precinct studies and design services.
8. Work closely with ministries, authorities, SDC’s stakeholders, consultants and contractors from project inception, ideation to final delivery of the developments
9. Work closely with the relevant authorities and project teams on various authority clearances for planning approvals, including environmental and heritage impact assessments.
10. Preparation of approval papers and related materials eg. specifications and drawings etc. to facilitate clearances.
11. Review SDC’s tenants’, our Island Partners (IPs), tenancy works spanning from land preparation, marketing exercise, design reviews, facilitation of clearances and design management development.

• Possess a recognized degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Conservation, Sustainable Design or Urban Design
• Software skills - Autocad, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Photoshop, SketchUp, GIS software, Illustrator, Video-editing, Rhino and Revit.
