What the role is

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment.

We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.

You will be part of the Human Resource compensation and benefits team, managing payroll and compensation-related activities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll outsourced partner to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration, CPF submission, tax filing, and other payroll-related activities such as secondment billings

  • Perform compensation activities (e.g. uploading of monthly payments and deductions), computations of variable salary components and WICA claims

  • Manage payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing timely responses and effective solutions

  • Manage pensions liability and payment schedule for retired pensioners

  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management, government agencies, and auditors as required       

  • Support department budget planning process and maintenance of records system

Requirements

  • Tertiary education with at least 5 years of payroll experience

  • Experience in using Workday and Excelity

  • Good knowledge of pay-related legislations

  • Independent, meticulous, resourceful, good interpersonal skills, and methodical
