The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending.
As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.

What the role is
What you will be working on
As a Manager/Senior Manager, your role is to support the Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director to lead a team to develop and implement a Family Violence (FV) database to track and consolidate key data relating to FV that can be used for research and analysis. You will be responsible for the overall project management including the engagement of key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and supervise the project from planning, implementation, monitoring and maintenance (both stakeholder engagement and data management)
• Active monitoring and tracking of project progress and reporting progress to management
• Ensuring that project milestones are on track and meet deadlines
• Managing relationship with key stakeholder which includes develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement and on-boarding strategies
• Coordinating staff and internal resources which includes leading the secretariat team for the FV database workgroup
What we are looking for
Requirements:
Technical/Functional Competencies:
• Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science or Mathematics
• At least 4 years of experience in Data and IT system management
• At least 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience
• Understanding of the government and social service/ health sectors is an advantage

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills
• Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines
