What the role is

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to join our IT Division team from November 2024 to January 2025. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our annual internal stock-take exercise, file organization, and migration, as well as various IT-related tasks.

What you will be working on

- Assist with physical asset sighting and recording for the ITD's annual internal stock-take exercise

- Organize and maintain ITD files and folders on SharePoint for seamless tracking and access

- Improve existing processes by adopting M365 services such as Power Automate/ Power Apps

- Streamline file structures to enhance data management efficiency

- Transfer data from shared storage (OneDrive) to ITD SharePoint folders

- Assist with housekeeping tasks, including identifying and preparing for disposal of old assets and software

- Document network ports in ISEAS

- Execute the annual IT asset disposal exercise

- Compile the Agency SOP Handbook

- Assist with automation projects, such as reminders for deactivation of employee accounts

- Support Research Block coordination with vendors and update POC

What we are looking for

- At least a Higher Nitec in any field

- Proficient in MS Office 365

- Good interpersonal skills

- Interest in data automation and records management

- Ability to carry considerable weight (1-10kg) and work independently

- Team spirit and initiative
