What the role is

MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER (ERP 2.0 BACKEND PAYMENT SOLUTIONING)

What you will be working on

You will be part of the project team spearheading the design, development and management of the backend payment eco-system, as part of the overall ERP 2.0 project, which will cater for motoring-related payments, such as ERP charges, parking fees, e-Day licenses and checkpoint tolls. Some of these activities include designing of the system architecture, commercial negotiations to finalise the eventual business model, culminating in the onboarding and ongoing management of the requisite stakeholders.

You will lead and manage the team working with the appointed contractor(s) on the system setup of the backend payment eco-system, including the formulation of a seamless end-to-end user experience for each stakeholder in the eco-system. This facilitates the overall objective of ensuring the backend payment eco-system can seamlessly process, acquire and settle all related transactions flowing through from the frontend user signup experience to the backend payment processing. After the backend payment eco-system has been launched, you would spearhead the planning of the gradual transitioning towards a steady-state operational setup, including but not limited to, ongoing reviews to identify system improvements and onboard more stakeholders to the backend payment eco-system, whilst managing the stakeholders in terms of project plus contractual aspects.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline. Knowledge in basic IT or
computing engineering will be useful
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in project management and contract
administration
• Strong project management and people management skills
• In-depth knowledge of financial and/or merchant acquiring protocols and
topologies
• Experience handling the administration or commercial aspects of financial
payment networks
• Possess drive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
with a strong sense of responsibility, initiative and resourcefulness as well
as keen interest in problem solving
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written, verbal communication,
presentation and negotiation skills
