What the role is

You will be part of a team that takes care of lush and vibrant parks to serve the recreational and lifestyle pursuits of our community.

What you will be working on

Under our City in Nature vision, you will be responsible for the curation of selected parks and park connectors to provide a safe and pleasant experience for park visitors, and to bring park visitors closer to nature. Your work will also require keen interest and knowledge in nature and greenery to carry out landscape and infrastructure development/maintenance works. You will also implement a range of activities involving the community, including programming, education and outreach,  tree-planting events, as well as various habitat enhancement projects.

What we are looking for

  • Areas of study in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Environmental Science or related discipline

  • Competency in robotic automation processes (RPA) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application

  • Enjoy working outdoors, doing field work and interacting with people

  • Keen interest in nature, plants, greenery and environmental horticulture

  • Able to work independently and multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties, including operations, community engagement, programming and enforcement (e.g. Parks and Trees Regulations, etc) when required

  • Possess good interpersonal and writing skills

  • Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required

Successful candidate will be placed on a 11-month employment contract. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
