- Education in Mass Communications or Social Sciences (e.g., Political Science, International Relations, Psychology, Economics) - Good analytical and writing skills - Good awareness of Singapore's political, defence, and security developments as well as understanding of current affairs - Acute awareness of the regional and international media environment - Ability to leverage media environment knowledge for MINDEF/SAF's benefit - Proficiency in a vernacular language is advantageous (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
