What the role is
What you will be working on
You provide advice on safety-related matters and monitor open reporting such as safety incidents, near misses, hazard reports, safe and unsafe practices. Your challenges lie in internalising all Army safety regulations to ensure compliance by all sub-units, as well as developing case study materials from the inspections or investigations conducted and disseminating them to stakeholders.
What we are looking for
You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with 5 years' relevant work experience in Workplace Safety field or at least 10 years' relevant work experience in the military field. Possession of good interpersonal skills is essential. You must have attention to detail and be able to sieve out key observations through your training safety inspections. You should preferably have relevant professional certificates such as Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Certification or other Certified Safety Professional (CSP) qualifications.
