What the role is

The Judiciary - comprising the Supreme Court, State Courts and Family Justice Courts - is one of the three constitutional pillars of government in Singapore. Known collectively as SG Courts, we are integrated and coordinated to serve as one judiciary. As an organ of state, the Judiciary’s function is to independently administer justice. Headed by the Chief Justice, we are a forward-looking, innovative and trusted judiciary. We welcome you to join our team as: MANAGER (OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT), COMMUNICATIONS AND SERVICE EXCELLENCE DIVISION What the role is You will be part of the Outreach and Engagement department of the Communications and Service Excellence Division.

What you will be working on

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and be expected to: • Lead, conceptualise and implement outreach and engagement programmes targeted at various audiences, e.g. public, students, industry/community/public sector leaders, to raise awareness and understanding of the role and functions of the Singapore Courts. • Collaborate with public/ private sector partners in outreach and engagement initiatives. • Manage the production of corporate materials (e.g., newsletter, educational brochures, videos, etc.). • Manage the Singapore Courts’ heritage galleries and authorised educational partners contracted to conduct tours for the Courts. • Organise and manage visits by local and overseas agencies to the Singapore Courts. • Organise and manage corporate events (e.g., networking events, conferences, etc).

What we are looking for

• Degree in communications or a related discipline • At least 3 years’ of relevant experience in Corporate Communications/ Marketing/ Stakeholder Engagement/ Events Management • Good command of the English language. Proficiency in a second language will be an advantage • Excellent written, spoken, presentation, interpersonal and project management skills; • Strong editorial and copy writing skills • Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work within tight deadlines • Excellent organisational and analytical skills • Able to perform independently and as a team player • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or other design software will be an advantage • Familiarity with government procurement framework will be an advantage Note: The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
