[ICPD/OAB] Operational Collation Officer

What the role is

The Operation Analysis Branch oversees and coordinates ground-sensing information collection effort, analyse and synthesise the information to apprise SMT for policy decision making, or other regulatory/operational follow-up actions. • We are looking for individuals with passion and experiences in the field of information collation and preferably with intelligence analysis. • In this position, you will report to the Operational Analysis Manager. • You will liaise and coordinate with frontline divisions on ground-sensing information collection, manage and synthesise the information in support of Operational Analysis Manager in putting up reports to apprise senior management for policy decision making, or other regulatory/operational follow-up actions.

What you will be working on

The job holder is expected to perform the following roles: • Receive and collate information from the LOs relating to the various Organization of Interests (OOIs) and Subject of Interests (SOIs). • Coordinate with the Liaison Officers on the information collection, and subsequent clarifications and enrichment of information. • Collate disparate information collected from various sources and organize them into useful clusters according to the Subject of Interests for further analysis. • Synthesize the information and identify information gaps, calibrating information collection efforts. • Support in analysis of the information gathered and development of intelligence reports to facilitate MSF policy and operational decisions. • Assist in the strategic analysis of the information collected by managing the information and grouping them according to their strategic implications. • Assist in the preparation of regular or ad hoc situation reports to update senior management on key issues and cases of interest.

What we are looking for

• Experience in the field of information collation and intelligence analysis • Good and effective written and communications skills. • Good liaison and inter-personal skills to work effectively with the Liaison Officers or Divisional Directors on the information gathered. • Ability to work with statistical tools to dissect, synthesize and work with data for analysis and presentation.
