What the role is

We are looking for a SNB enrolled/ registered nurse to be part of the Blood Services Group (BSG), Blood Resources Division (Blood bank team), where the incumbent will play a key role in securing the nations’ blood supply. In this front-facing role, the individual will perform essential blood collection duties in a dynamic and close-knit team. Successful applicants will be placed on a Temporary 1-year contract with our appointed recruitment agency. Working Location: If selected, you will be deployed to one of our fixed collection sites or mobile team. The deployment is based on operational needs. HSA blood banks are located at HSA (Outram), WestGate Tower, Woodlands Civic Centre, Dhoby Exchange, and One Punggol. What you will be working on

Responsibilities:- • Whole Blood and Apheresis collection focus • Provide blood donation nursing care and perform donor phlebotomy • Assist in managing blood donor complications within standard operating procedures • Routine nursing operations follow up and administrative duties as assigned

What we are looking for

Requirements:- • Team members will be rostered to support morning, afternoon and weekend shifts, across a 5-day work week and are not required to perform night shift. • Minimum NITEC/ Diploma in Nursing and must hold valid nursing practising certificate with Singapore Nursing Board • Able to engage and communicate well with donors, with good spoken English • Works well in a fast-paced, team-based environment • Reasonably fit and able to stand for long hours • Meticulous and pays attention to details • Candidates with requisite qualification/certification but no working experience may also apply
