What the role is

As an Enforcement Inspector, you will be part of a team to
undertake a range of challenging enforcement activities to
safeguard public health.

What you will be working on

  • Conduct raids, gathering intelligence on syndicates, executing filed operations against offenders
  • Conduct meticulous investigations and surveillance operations for possible offences under the Acts and Regulations within the ambit of Health Sciences Authority (HSA)
  • Assist in developing and reviewing SOPs internally and with external agencies
  • Assist in identifying lapses and areas where illegal activities can occur
  • Liaise with HSA’s prosecutorial team and/or Attorney General’s Chambers on investigation matters
  • Plan for inspections and routine enforcement checks, and participating in these enforcement operations
  • Arrest offenders and accused persons, if necessary
  • Execute warrant of arrest of offenders who fail to attend court
  • Arrange meeting with external agencies to coordinate enforcement activities and provide situational updates
  • Assist in the preparation of documents, etc for purpose of prosecuting the cases in court

What we are looking for

  • Good communication and writing
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Be able to work both independently as well as a team player
  • Experience in system design, data analytics or integration of digital technologies
