The Strategy, International & Research (SIR) Directorate oversees and drives MSF’s strategic planning, transformation, international engagement, as well as research and analytics efforts to achieve MSF’s strategic outcomes.
The Research and Analytics Division (RA) drives MSF’s research and analytics efforts, to strengthen the nexus between policy, practice, operations and research and analytics to support MSF outcomes, policies and programmes. Our work entails coordinating the social research agenda, conducting research and data analytics studies, and building research expertise for MSF.
As a Senior Manager/Manager, you will be involved in coordinating and conducting research and data analysis to inform MSF’s policymaking and service delivery.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Scan and synthesise social science research literature
• Design survey questionnaires to address research questions on social and family-related issues, and coordinate the conduct of fieldwork
• Assist with data collection, processing and management
• Conduct research and data analysis and distil useful key insights for policymakers
• Manage research projects’ key deliverables and timelines
• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., academics, consultants and research companies) on selected projects
What we are looking for
• Experience in conducting literature reviews
• Experience in processing and managing datasets, and proficient in at least one statistical/ data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, Python)
• Prior experience in designing, conducting or managing surveys would be an advantage
• Strong project management and communication skills
