What the role is

As a Digital Communications intern, you will play a key role in creating content for URA’s social media channels and support the team in executing digital communications and marketing strategies. You will also support the team in monitoring and reviewing activities happening on online and social media platforms as well as conduct research and experiment with new content formats and social media channels.

What you will be working on

The intern will undertake the following tasks: • Conceptualise and produce an array of social content such as videos, reels, and graphics for URA’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN and Telegram channels. • Support development and execution of social media campaigns. • Conduct regular research and updates on social media trends. • Assist the team with analysis and reports on the performance of URA’s social media channels. • Research and experiment with new content formats and social media channels, such as a potentially establishing a TikTok channel for URA. The intern is expected to reap the following learning outcomes: • Hone creativity and storytelling abilities by producing engaging content for various social media platforms. • Pick up hands-on experience in planning, developing and delivering social media campaigns and content, from setting objectives and identifying target audiences to crafting content calendars. • Gain deeper understanding of social media analytics, learning how to track and interpret key performance indicators to measure the success of your content. • Gain insights and skills in developing new content formats and setting up new social media channels that will expand the agency’s content marketing capabilities.

What we are looking for

• Strong foundation in content production skillsets that can be applied to digital and social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and TikTok). • Strong in storytelling and familiar with social media trends. • Please indicate your availability for the internship in your application, including the start and end date. • Note that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
