You will be a part of HPB’s Regional Health & Community Outreach division which strives to advance health promotion efforts in the community setting to reduce Singapore’s burden of diseases.
Scope
As a key member of the Regional Health & Community Outreach division’s Central Department, you will:
Lead a team of Health Promotion Managers in the co-creation of Healthy Community Ecosystems in the community and residential settings with other governmental agencies, community partners, healthcare partners and non-profit organisations.
As the Lead of Health Ambassador Network guiding a team of Health Promotion Managers to strategies, plan, organise, implement and manage end to end the volunteers programme from recruitment to engagement promoting healthy lifestyle to Singaporeans.
What an ideal candidate looks like
An ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results driven and self-motivated individual with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in public health programme development, strategic planning, partnership and account management (preferably at a middle management level), and possesses;
A proven track record in successfully developing, implementing and executing partnership initiatives, with an understanding of the underlying economics of achieving win-win resolutions or agreements
Strong leadership qualities and people management skills
Ability to present complex concepts in a clear and relevant manner to the target audience.
Effective communication (verbal & written), presentation and negotiation skills
Strong planning, analytical, business development and project management skills
Strategic and critical thinking
Strong collaborative and partnership building skills
Prior experience in managing portfolios within the public sector, data analytics, risk and operations management as well as skills and knowledge in lean management will be an advantage
The individual should also be able to;
Adapt and independently navigate through new situations and challenges
Be confident in working with both public and community partners
Multi-task, handle stressful situations and tight deadlines;
Motivate and guide your team and demonstrate strong team work; and
Work well in matrix and highly dynamic teams
