What the role is

The Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism Division (ACD) regulates the precious stones and precious metals dealers (PSMD), legal, pawnbrokers and moneylenders sectors for the prevention of money laundering, terrorism financing and proliferation financing.

What you will be working on

As an Executive, your responsibilities will include: • Providing administrative and operational support to the Division to facilitate its operations and functions. This includes preparing monthly statistics, staff on-boarding/off-boarding, records management and monitoring staff training. • Coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to assist in the smooth functioning of the division. This includes answering general public queries on matters related to the divisions functions and liaising on administrative matters. • Supporting engagement efforts involving stakeholders in the regulated communities. This includes participating in industry outreach efforts. • Providing clerical/ secretarial support to the Director/Senior Deputy Director. • There may be opportunities to work on projects to improve user experience and enhance the operational support for the division.

Key Competencies • [Administration Management] Deliver administrative services and solutions to support the organisation's operations • [Secretariat Support] Administer secretarial functions and provide support in secretarial matters relating to key stakeholders • [Planning and Managing Operations] Plan and/or execute daily operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimise enforcement functions. Establish processes and systems and adjust resources to achieve enforcement outcomes. Personal Traits / Work Experience • Highly motivated, with a strong sense of initiative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Strong planning and organisational skills and have an attention to detail • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels and work effectively both as an individual contributor and in a team setting • Strong spoken and written communication skills • Tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Has interest in management and analysis of data and information
