What the role is

This role reports to the Associate Director of Experiential Fund-raising and shares collective
responsibility to advance NCSS and Community Chest’s philanthropy and engagement goals.
To develop and execute innovative fund-raising strategies and initiatives, plan and oversee
the implementation of Community Chest’s signature events, other events and activities.

What you will be working on

1. Manage relationship and engagement functions with strong stakeholder and project management skills to achieve fund-raising targets through the organisation of events and engagement activities.

2. Conceptualise and implement events and initiatives to engage and enhance donors and stakeholders’ experience and stewardship. Duties include, but are not limited to, secretariat duties for committees, event and budget management, procurement of goods and services, sourcing of sponsorship and partnerships and driving donations with internal and external partners.

3. Strategise and acquire potential new partners with innovative fund-raising strategies to grow giving for the social service sector through Community Chest.

4. Cultivate strategic and sustainable partnerships with relevant stakeholders to increase value proposition brought about by the events and engagement activities.

5. Conduct reviews, ideate and propose new and creative fund-raising strategies and approaches to grow charitable giving and sustainable partnerships for Community Chest.

6. Manage, measure and be accountable for the annual KPIs set.

7. Collaborate with teams in Community Chest and divisions in NCSS, where relevant, to amplify and bring impact to core roles and duties assigned. 8. Any other duties as assigned by Associate Director that are aligned to Community Chest’s purposes

Skills & Knowledge:

1. Marketing

2. Business development

3. Experience in event and account management with strong stakeholder skills

4. Knowledge of social service sector and experience with public service procurement practices are added advantages

5. Good Microsoft Office skills

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience 3P sector coordination and event management experience an added advantage
