What the role is

The Smart Nation Group – Digital Government (SNDG), under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and administratively managed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), plans and prioritizes key Smart Nation and digital government projects, raises the standards of Government ICT and services, builds long-term capabilities for the public sector, and promotes adoption and participation in digital and smart innovations. It takes a whole-of-nation effort, and we will actively engage the public, the industry and fellow agencies as we build a Smart Nation together. As a temp, you will be assisting Technology & Capability Division with operational work tasks to ensure a smooth operations of the TRANS Grant workstream.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities: • Handle grant administration duties such as verification of claims, review of progress reports, and preparation of reports. • Assist in the preparation of new grant call materials, dissemination of grant calls and coordination of submissions • Support the organisation of events including liaison with internal and external stakeholders (researchers, government agencies, etc). • Maintain proper records of grant documents and applications. • Any other ad-hoc tasks as required

About Ministry of Digital Development and Information

The Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) drives Singapore’s digital development in four key domains — the economy, government, security, and society. MDDI oversees the development of the infocomm technology, cybersecurity, and media sectors; the Government’s digitalisation initiatives; and the national library, national archives, and public libraries. The Ministry is also responsible for effective public communications, and the Government’s information and public communication policies.
