What the role is

You develop long-cycle strategic communications strategies and master plans for the relevant target audiences in support of MINDEF/SAF strategic communications objectives.

What you will be working on

You also play a central coordinating role in synchronising the strategic communications efforts across the different target audience groups. In addition, you derive operational learning based on contemporary regional or international conflicts or incidents through the lens of strategic communications. Your challenge lies in keeping pace with the fast-evolving information landscape, geopolitical developments, and having a keen understanding of MINDEF/SAF policies and objectives in key functional areas.

What we are looking for

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in Communications, Psychology, International Relations or Social Sciences, with at least 6 years' relevant experience in these fields. Proficiency in vernacular languages such as Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is advantageous. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
