What the role is
What you will be working on
• Be the subject matter expert on procurement matters for the division by providing professional advice/ guidance, and ensuring strict compliance to the Government and Ministry’s financial and procurement policies and procedures
• Assist with procurement-related matters in GeBIZ, such as publishing Invitation to Quote documents, routing award recommendations for approval, raising contracts, and issuing Purchase Orders for Small Value Purchases and Period Contract Purchases etc
• Conduct checks (e.g. ensure approvals are sought and supporting documents are provided) and process payments for direct e-invoices
What we are looking for
• Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
• A dynamic team player
• Preferably with background in Finance and/or Procurement
• Possess knowledge in government procurement guidelines and/ or systems would be an advantage
