As an Executive/ Senior Executive, Administration in the Curriculum Planning and Development Division, you will be attached to the Mother Tongue Languages Branch (MTLB) to provide support in areas such as budgeting, finance, grants, procurement and payment matters. You will also assist with programme planning and support the work of Mother Tongue Language Learning Promotion Committees (MTLLPCs).

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Assist in MTLLPCs’ financial and budgeting operations, including coordination between the MTLLPCs to ensure alignment of financial procedures, tracking of the utilisation of funds/ budget, monitoring purchase orders and various expenditures, and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines
• Provide support on procurement related matters such as preparation of procurement documents and working with MTLLPC Secretariats to evaluate bids for tender/ quotation while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, guidelines and procedures
• Provide support in financial matters related to payments/ reimbursements and goods received, including processing MTLLPCs’ funds/ grants for school programmes/ projects, raising journal adjustments, and monitoring and updating vote control register to track the expenditure and availability of funds
• Assist in planning, preparation and support of MTLLPCs’ activities, programmes and events including the collation of post-programme evaluation reports and consolidation of feedback for the respective MTLLPC programmes
• Provide secretariat, administration and logistics support at MTLLPC’s meetings
What we are looking for
• At least 2 years of experience in finance, procurement and general administration
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Meticulous, resourceful and driven
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
