What the role is
What you will be working on
• Lead the development and transition of the Student Internship Programme (SIP) dashboards from SAS to Power BI. Leverage technical expertise to conduct in-depth data analysis, generate detailed reports, and offer recommendations that enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage initiatives to improve SIP processes, ensuring the effective setup and maintenance of SIP data collection platforms to support seamless feedback collation and reporting.
• Work closely with the Enterprise Student Management System (ESMS) team, playing a key role in configuring, testing, and optimizing the new SIP system to enhance system functionality.
• Compile, prepare, and deliver detailed SIP statistics and insights for Ministry of Education (MOE) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) management, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Lead efforts in data extraction, cleaning, and dissemination. Manage requests from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of data reports.
• Provide high-level system services to various schools, including support for the SIP dashboard and resource hub, ensuring seamless operations across departments.
• Spearhead preparatory tasks for new academic years, including SIP system setup, handbook updates, and document revisions.
• Co-lead and contribute to process improvements, analysing data to implement efficient procedures and systems. Identify trends and recurring issues, taking action to resolve problems and enhance overall operational performance.
• Provide timely information and insights to management, contributing to both operational and strategic decision-making. Use best practices and internal/external knowledge to improve performance and drive service enhancements.
• Contribute to department-wide and polytechnic-wide events and activities, leveraging your expertise to support both operational and strategic goals.

What we are looking for
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an educational institution.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to use statistical tools for reporting and analysis.
• Proven project and team management experience, particularly in cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• IT system support experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, with a strong passion for both qualitative and quantitative work.
