What the role is

The Office of Chief Psychologist (OCP) provides thought and practice leadership in the strategic direction and planning for psychological services within the Ministry and the Social Service Sector. Specifically, it provides professional consultations, training, research and evaluation in the field of psychology and mental health.

What you will be working on

The research psychologist will manage all aspects of assigned research projects. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing literature reviews, initiating and conceptualising research projects, preparing research materials for data collection, administering psychological tests, data management, statistical analysis, writing reports, preparing presentations, and communicating with stakeholders involved in the research.

What we are looking for

• At least Masters in psychology from a reputable university (individuals graduating this year are welcome to apply) • Competence in implementation, evaluation, measurement, and data science will be an advantage • Familiarity in advanced statistical analysis (e.g., SEM) and the use of R (proficiency in Mplus is a plus) • Ability to proactively lead, initiate, conceptualise, manage, implement, and complete research projects
