We are looking for a driven and resourceful HR Business Partner to support various business units to raise, train and sustain talent, ensuring that they are aligned with the organisational goals and talent strategy.

The successful job holder will be responsible for the following (but not limited to): •Partner business units through a proactive and consultative approach in various strategic human resource areas such as recruitment and retention, performance management, staff management, industrial relations and exit management. • Act as change agent by developing and communicating organisational strategy with business units and/or employees, where required. •Support employees through employee life cycle from onboarding to off-boarding. •Implement relevant HR strategies to support and drive business needs and performance • Initiate reviews on existing HR processes for continuous improvement and relevancy. •Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and employment legislations. •Compile and analyse manpower statistics for reporting and surveys •Work closely with HR Shared Services and other stakeholders to provide solutions for business, identify HR software needs, proposing and implementing new automation tools and software solutions, performing regular system checks and data cleaning, maintain workflow documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides. •Update employee files, manage user access, and maintain the integrity of all employee data. • Support the onboarding of new employees by creating new user accounts, organising technical workshops, distributing user manuals, etc. •Conduct regular audits of HR data to avoid discrepancies and inaccuracies and propose effective solutions to avoid the same problems. •Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. •Other ad-hoc initiatives and projects may be assigned.

Requirements •Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resource or a related discipline •Candidates with relevant HR experience preferred •Strong knowledge of Singapore’s employment laws and guidelines •Proficiency in HR software such as SAP •Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills •Familiarity with recruitment operations, especially with social and digital platforms, is an advantage •Knowledge of and experience with best practices in the management of scientific and engineering talent is an advantage •Comfortable with interacting with people at all levels, and able to deliver great service to business leaders. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
