What the role is
What you will be working on
The LTA’s Knowledge Management (KM) Division embraces the power of change and drives LTA toward a knowledge and digital-ready organisation. As part of the Records Management (RM) section in the KM Division, you will be working in a flexible and result-oriented environment with a good teamwork culture. Your main work goal is to push for a sustainable RM culture and governance across LTA, ensuring that records are managed in accordance to the Instruction Manual on Management of Public Records (IM4L) provisions and LTA’s RM best practices. In addition, you are also expected to contribute to digital initiatives to plan and transform operational efficiencies in records management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise LTA Registry team to work with LTA internal users to understand and guide their filing and retrieval needs for digital records
• Oversee proper disposal of hardcopy records and documents that have passed retention period
• Conduct feasibility study on outsourcing of microfilmed records digitisation
• Coordinate and support LTA Groups on migration of records to the new Records Management System which involves records tagging and verification
• Utilise emerging technologies to modernise and optimise LTA’s records management processes
• Utilise data analytics tools and reporting capabilities to derive actionable insights from LTA’s records
• Develop systematic records declassification approach and structure and perform records declassifications in accordance to IM4L procedures
• Identify records management learning needs for LTA officers and design and roll out appropriate RM education content and outreach materials, including e-Learning, virtual sharing and face-to-face clinic sessions to meet these learning needs

What we are looking for
• Has at least 2-5 years of relevant RM experience will be advantageous
• Has good working knowledge of RM concepts and principles
• Critical thinker, high attention to detail, focused and reliable, with project management experience
• Ability to manage and facilitate education/community outreach activities.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proactive with positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
• Has good working knowledge of RM concepts and principles
