What the role is

We seek an innovative professional to be part of our Organisation & Service Excellence team to manage/lead transformation plans and change management, as we strive to achieve our vision, “A Gracious Muslim Community of Excellence that Inspires and Radiates Blessings to All”.

What you will be working on

You will promote, drive and enable organisation excellence initiatives throughout Muis, including, among other things, the following:

Drive the planning, implementation and review of Muis Transformation Plan:

•      Drive the development and delivery of Muis Transformation Plan to achieve strategic outcomes.

•      Work with Muisians and management to

  • Identify transformation opportunities
  • Offer consultation and partnership on transformation efforts.
  • These may include projects on service innovation, digitalisation, workplace, programmes/services and other related initiatives.
  • Support project management framework/methodology aligned with Public Sector Transformation (PST)
  • Provide training and facilitation where required.

•      Work closely with other departments to review and implement various action plans to improve Muis’ operational and core work processes and driving innovation.

•      Conduct research projects/assignments to gather data and information.

•      Monitor transformation efforts across Muis and keep projects on track to deliver concrete outcomes. This includes measuring progress and tracking key milestones.

•      Coordinate inter-agency and Ministry Family efforts to advance Muis’ PST efforts.

•      Perform relevant Secretariat duties to support senior management in PST to achieve a lean and agile organisation with an empowered ecosystem.

Service Design/Design Thinking:

•      Apply service design/design thinking to Muis projects to driver citizen and user-centricity.

•      Encourage new thinking, creative solutions and ways of working to address issues and mitigate risks.

•      Experiment and develop new organisation development tools and resources to promote transformation in Muis.

Drive Change Management

•        Establish desired change outcomes and engage Muisians to help them overcome barriers to change.

•        Design and implement broad-based interventions related to engagement and change management. 

What we are looking for

  • Strong passion and demonstrated experience and expertise for any of the following – organisation development, transformation and innovation. have 3-5 years of working experience in the area of organisation development, service transformation, change management or related areas.
  • Have experience in project management, process improvement and design thinking/service journeys
  • Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills with track record in engaging stakeholders, both within and outside the organisation.
  • Demonstrate good strategic and critical thinking skills.
  • Be able to work resourcefully, independently or within a team. as a team.

Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
