What the role is
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with divisions on funding requests, budgeting, financial reporting. Key tasks include:
a. Monitor and analyse operating expenses and development expenditure, ensuring they align with the budget and funding sources
b. Prepare and present financial performance reports, highlighting budget variances and offer actionable recommendations to stakeholders
c. Review viability of funding requests and quarterly project reporting
d. Oversee daily finance operations including payments, claims processing, and management of fixed assets
e. Engage divisions to stay informed on their operations, providing timely financial advice and partnering divisions to co-develop business solutions that align with organisational goals
f. Perform data analytics on payments and claims, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance governance and compliance
g. Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting
h. Review and update finance policies to maintain high standards of financial governance and strengthen internal controls
i. Lead or contribute to ad-hoc projects as required
