The Veterinary Science Programmes team under the Community Animal Management Division of AVS develops animal welfare and management policies, conducts research to support operations and policymaking, and engages stakeholders on these policies. You will assist in field work and data analysis for population and ecology studies on community animals.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Conduct fieldwork to collect population and demographic data on free-roaming cat populations through population surveys.
Assist in pilot field acceptance trials of Oral Rabies Vaccine (ORV) baits.
Utilise GIS software and data analytics platforms to analyse and map data.
Carrying out administrative process including verification of documents, procurement, assist with event logistics, and other duties as required to ensure daily function of the branch.
What we are looking for
Degree in Life Sciences or a related field
Experience in data analysis.
Proficiency in using tools such as data analytics software, GIS, and other relevant technologies.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
