The OC Finance reports to Head, Corporate Support Division (CSD) and is expected to provide timely, efficient and effective finance support to achieve CAD’s crime-fighting mission. This would require someone who has a good understanding of finance policies and practices. Through such knowledge and experience, the officer will be better placed to advise and support users on finance-related requests. Key accountabilities: • Manage the processes related to public monies transactions. • Maintain CAD’s bank accounts. • Manage CAD’s budget. • Guide and support requestors on finance-related requests. • Ensure that finance processes/practices are in line with prevailing policies. • Facilitate correspondence between internal requestors and finance staff authorities. • Facilitate finance audits. • Provide finance solutions to Head CSD.

Relevant experience in purchases is an advantage; • Meticulous in record-keeping; • Able to work independently with minimum supervision; • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines; • Good team player; • Have a good grasp of English Language and possess good communication and writing skills.
