What the role is

[What the role is]

The incumbent’s primary role is to perform all Finance Accounts Payable (AP) functions. He/She is required to follow up on invoice processing, prepare reports such as late payment, prepare monthly accounts schedules and involve in financial year end activities such as accruals, prepayments, related parties’ transaction confirmation and reconciliation, notes to the accounts and liaising with auditors. In addition, the incumbent is also required to perform day-to-day AP operations, which includes answering queries and addressing issues on invoice processing and payment. The incumbent will also be involved in special projects and system enhancements. He/she must be equipped with very strong accounting knowledge, excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, good IT knowledge, strong analytical and MS Excel skills.

[What we are looking for]

  • Areas of study in Accounting/ Business/ Finance

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel

  • Very independent, confident, meticulous, good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, good team player, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • IT programming skills would be an added advantage
