You will be part of the Transformation Office within MinLaw’s Strategic Planning and Policy Division. The Transformation Office coordinates and drives public sector transformation efforts within the Ministry and supports transformation, innovation and organisation development efforts in line with WOG initiatives.

What the role is
What you will be working on
The job scope involves:
• Understanding and contextualising broader WOG transformation initiatives and efforts into specific initiatives for the Ministry’s transformation;
• Working with business units to develop and implement transformation initiatives across the various domains;
• Secretariat for Minlaw’s Transformation Committee;
• Drive and organise MinLaw’s corporate events to achieve organisational development and innovation objectives

*Work Experience / Personal Traits*
• Preferably be familiar with public service transformation, innovation and organisational development work in public service sector
• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Be able to translate ideas into strategies and action plans.
• Be resourceful and able to identify and tap on, or seek resources, to implement action plans.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
• Strong planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Be a results-orientated, highly self-motivated and resilient person
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including tight deadlines, and be able to work independently as well as in a team/cross-team setting.
While officers are hired for specific roles within the division at the start, officers have the opportunity to work in different or multiple sections within the division, taking into consideration the officers’ competencies and development needs, as well as the needs of the division.
Successful candidates will be appointed on a 1-year contract in the first instance, subject to renewal.
