What the role is

The Analytics & Social unit supports MOF’s policy-making process via the application of data analytics and management of data resources. It is part of the Economic & Fiscal Analysis directorate, which is responsible for research and analysis on a range of fiscal, economic and social policy issues key to MOF.

What you will be working on

We are seeking candidates with strong capabilities in data analytics and data management. You would be expected to work closely with various MOF directorates to ideate and deliver impactful projects. - Analyse large datasets using analytical tools and dashboards to inform, design and evaluate policies - Develop and maintain data infrastructure to facilitate data access and analysis - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and advise MOF policy teams on data management matters - Grow data analytics capabilities within MOF

What we are looking for

- Strong interest in using data to inform, design and evaluate policies - Bachelor’s degree in quantitative areas such as Statistics, Economics and Computer Science - Experience or interest in data tools such as R, Stata, Tableau, and Python - Ability to understand policy needs, and tailor analysis to inform policy design - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
