The officer will be part of the PixelStudio team under Technology Services Group, to manage multi-media production, and manage implementation and support of media-related technologies and services in NLB.

What you will be working on

Media Arts Content Creation

  • Manage in-house video production process, spanning from pre-production to post production, to produce videos and/or animation to promote and publicize NLB’s products and services.
  • Discuss with requesting divisions in NLB on the video/animation requirements
  • Develop and propose creative storyboards on video production
  • Assist the media arts production team in production work which involves video filming, audio recording, video editing, animation production and multi-cam live streaming.
  • Carry out video production work to cover key NLB events/programmes, this involves operating professional video cameras, audio recording, lighting, etc.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of work based on agreed schedules

Multi-Media Project Management

  • Scan environment to identify media-related technologies, perform evaluation and service trials to assess feasibility of technology adoption
  • Work closely with internal divisions in NLB to understand the business requirements and brainstorm on possible service ideas.
  • Propose service concepts and seek business buy-in to leverage on media technology to innovatively improve work operations and transform library services.
  • Prepare, evaluate and recommend awards of tenders.
  • Working with vendors on the planning, design, development and implementation of media-related services.   
  • Manage the vendors and contracts to ensure that the performance of vendors and deliverables are in accordance to the tender and service level agreements.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in managing projects
  • Good communication skills
  • Relevant field of study in media arts production, e.g. video production, animation or equivalent
  • Experience in video production work
  • Proficiency in using media arts tools like Adobe software or equivalent to produce videos, animation and digital content for social media platforms
  • Familiarity with media-technologies such as immersive rooms multiple projectors & big screen displays, interactive virtual exhibitions, augmented and virtual reality, and AI production tools will be advantageous.

The work location will be at ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee. The successful applicant will be appointed on a project contract until 31 Dec 2025.
