What you will be working on

You will play a key role in ensuring self-employed persons (SEPs) are supported in meeting their MediSave contribution requirements, while also contributing to the enhancement of operational efficiency and the overall service experience. In this role, you will: • Assess the financial situation of self-employed persons (SEPs) to determine their ability to make timely MediSave contributions. • Develop and provide affordable, personalised instalment plans to help SEPs meet their MediSave obligations and improve their healthcare savings. • Handle routine investigations to enforce compliance and recover overdue MediSave contributions, ensuring payments are collected on time. • Regularly review existing policies and procedures, using real-world experience and data insights to suggest improvements. • Recommend and implement changes to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance the experience for SEPs. • Manage GIRO instalment and deferment requests, ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner. • Lead efforts to improve the GIRO collection process, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce errors, making payments easier for SEPs. • Work with relevant teams to verify the income of SEPs when needed, ensuring they are meeting their contribution requirements.

What we are looking for

While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team. • Prior experience in customer service or a related field. • Good analytical skills with the ability to assess financial data and make decisions based on findings. • Ability to solve problems, alleviate conflicts, and escalate tactfully. • A quick learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues with a customer-first business mentality. • Ability to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in an efficient manner. • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing customer-centric solutions. • Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to achieving collective goals. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Skills in data analysis and automation will be an advantage. The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences. We welcome fresh graduates in any discipline and candidates without working experience to apply. Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs.
