What the role is
What you will be working on
You are responsible to oversee the condition of Civil and Architectural Fitting & Fixture assets of one of a MRT or LRT line in Singapore. You will plan for refurbishment, renewal, improve the durability of infrastructure assets and effectiveness of maintenance sustainability under his/her charge. You will assist senior colleagues in reviewing the design of new infrastructures, in developing new technology solutions for maintenance of infrastructures and other special projects in managing Singapore’s rail assets.
• Provide Operations & Management (O&M) and Life Cycle Management inputs for Architectural, Civil and Pway Assets of new lines and renewals to achieve optimal maintainability and cost-effective support in the life of the infrastructure.
• Oversee incident investigations, asset enhancement plan and condition monitoring capabilities to improve asset reliability and durability of the rail networks’ infrastructure components.
• Oversee the transfer of care, control and custody (TCCC) of Architectural, Civil and Pway Assets in the capacity of Asset Steward, to account for, track changes and manage disposal throughout their service life
• Plan and conduct maintenance and asset condition audits to verify the Operators’ maintenance quality, asset condition and improve maintenance regime
• Evaluate all Architectural, Civil and Pway Assets Modification and Asset Renewal proposals, taking into account relevant factors such as maintainability and supportability and cost
• Develop new technology solutions to enhance maintenance effectiveness and productivity.

What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering / Rail Engineering / Building / Facilities Management, or other relevant disciplines
• Possesses relevant knowledge of railway work environment and maintenance management
• Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving ability, good judgment, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
