The candidate will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and operations of URA’s buildings, as well as workplace management. You will provide space planning, technical management of building works, M&E systems and manage IFM contractors. You will supervise and manage contractors in fulfilling their contractual obligations and ensure smooth operation of the buildings; and ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for all building works, M&E equipment and systems are carried out on schedule and in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will review and manage the IFM contractor, as well as building works, M&E equipment upgrading and cyclical maintenance programme. You can also expect to be involved in planning and managing office fitting-out and renovation projects or other ad-hoc works as and when required. Within the team, you will help to build up the technical competencies especially in the area of building works and M&E engineering knowledge. In addition, you will also be required to explore and implement initiatives and policies relating to environmental sustainability and smart FM.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical facilities management. In the alternative, candidates without a degree should possess an additional 5 years of relevant work experience
• Relevant experience in the facilities management of office/high-rise buildings
• Knowledgeable in building operations and maintenance works, Authorities’ requirements and current code of practices
• Experience in formulating and implementing maintenance policies and procedures, and strong vendor management skill
• Strong communication, problem solving, written and interpersonal skills
• Certification as Licensed Electrical Worker, Fire Safety Manager and/or Green Mark Accredited Professional will be an advantage
