What the role is
What you will be working on
Be a part of the vibrant and dynamic team of VTIS officers, working on a 3 rotating shift and communicating with vessels on VHF radio to provide traffic information to these vessels. Other duties include distress watch keeping and attending to marine incidents.
What we are looking for
Requirements
1. Candidate should be able to communicate clearly with the ability to convey clear, precise information
2. Strong service orientation with a professional demeanour providing courteous service to port users.
3. Able to work on 3 rotating shift, each approximately 8 hours for morning, afternoon & night shift, including weekends and Public Holidays.
4. Able to work independently and be comfortable with being rotated to various work locations in the East and West of Singapore.
Training and Development
Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive traineeship programme designed to equip the necessary skills and knowledge for this crucial role in maritime operations.
