What the role is
What you will be working on
a) Data Migration
• Work with functional and technical teams in gathering requirements for data migration needs.
• Work across multiple functional systems/projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration.
• Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process.
• Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements.
• Prepare data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
• Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
• Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping.
• Perform migration and testing of static and transaction data from source system to target system.
• Manage cross-program data assurance for physical data items in source and target systems.
b) Data Ops
• Handle public enquiries related to information services operations.
• Perform first-level check of data queries against extracts.
• Conduct information services testing.
• Perform product testing based on test plans.
• Liaise with vendors or other departments to ensure testing is complete and results are documented and filed.
• Ensure the testing activities are tracked and followed-up timely.
• Provide support to the information services operations team.
What we are looking for
• Professional qualification in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experience as a system integration engineer, data analyst will be preferred.
• Able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good monitoring skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in the processes and logic of ACRA’s Information products and services will be beneficial.
• Experience in using JIRA tool or SQL will be considered favourably.
• Experience in scripting and programming will be preferred.
• Ability to handle customer enquiries and verify data issues against lodgement extracts.
