You are responsible for the management, operations, development and training of the Content Generation Hub. You plan and manage the production of media content.

On this, you supervise all levels of productions and the crew's creative processes in various areas. These include development of concept and treatment, scripting, storytelling, and storyboarding. You also oversee filming and directing techniques, post-production editing techniques, special visual and sound effects, 2D and 3D animation, and sound editing and design techniques. Additionally, you are responsible for the Raise-Train-Sustain of Content Generation teams through hiring and training of content generation competencies. Your challenges lie in harnessing creative energy amongst professional staff to effectively meet MINDEF/SAF's objectives, and managing a multitude of resources to support all relevant campaigns. You need to keep abreast of industry standards and media trends to lead the SAF Content Generation Hub.

You must have a tertiary qualification or Masters, preferably in Film/Video Making, Mass Communication or Advertising, with at least 10 years' working experience and have prior managerial experience in the related industries/fields. You should have strong audio-visual/media-editing software expertise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving aptitude, an appreciation of communication strategies, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities and strong command of both spoken and written English. You must also have a good awareness of Singapore’s political, defence and security developments, as well as current affairs and a good grasp of media trends.
