The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as a regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and child care centres. ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by MOE and MSF and is hosted under MSF. ECDA’s mission is to ensure that every child has access to affordable and quality early childhood development services and programmes.

We are looking for an energetic and self-driven individual to be part of the Subsidy team under the Transformation department in ECDA. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, implementation and review of the administration for preschool subsidy scheme to support families through affordable and quality preschool education. You will work closely with preschools and key stakeholders to better understand target clients’ needs and experiences with the aim to improve processes, guidelines and communications to enhance service delivery. You will also play an important role in reviewing and implementing the internal control and risk management framework relating to operations, reporting and compliance, to ensure effective processes and systems in administering preschool subsidies to enhance preschool affordability. You will also have opportunities to be involved in broader data and systems-related initiatives and identify relevant synergies for the department’s work. • Tertiary qualification in any discipline • At least 3 years of relevant working experience would be a plus • Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and writing skills • Proficient in data analysis • Meticulous and able to multi-task • Motivated and works efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment • Experience in Business Process Redesign (BPR), system development projects, audit and/or grant administration will be an added advantage
