The job-holder reports to Deputy Director Vehicles, and assist in the planning, management, and delivery of end-to-end Acquisition projects to support MHA operations. The jobholder will also be leading a team of engineers for acquisition projects.

The principal accountabilities of the job holder are to: (a) Conceptualise and implement the MHA Vehicle Electrification Road map. (b) Lead Integrated Project Management teams for vehicular system integration to ensure proper project execution and management of project management (performance, cost, schedule) and technical risks within Home Team S&T Capability Lifecycle Management guidelines. (c) Conceptualise and implement acquisition strategies with the objective of improving productivity and industry competition for Operations Vehicle replacement projects within government procurement guidelines. (d) Oversee vehicular systems integration projects, which includes coaching Project Managers in project management and engineering aspects, to ensure proper execution and management of project management risks (performance, cost, schedule) within Home Team S&T Capability Lifecycle Management guidelines.

- Degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Systems Engineering (or equivalent). - At least 8 years of project management experience in vehicle acquisition, vehicle design or vehicle systems integration projects - Deep competency in Platform technology and design, Vehicle Systems integration, Systems Safety assessment and System Engineering competencies. - Critical thinking. - Adaptability to work in different team cultures. - Initiative and drive to constantly improve. - Ability to make decisions and solve problems. -Effective and resourceful team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
