What the role is
What you will be working on
You will help develop plans with stakeholders and coordinate WoG info operations to guide WoG public communications. You will:
• Provide a comprehensive overall situational picture on Government-related issues affecting the Government’s public communications efforts.
• Develop plans and coordinate WoG info operations with various Government agencies and stakeholders for day-to-day incidents as well as signature events impacting Government’s policies and public communications efforts.
• Marshal and coordinate resources among stakeholders and strengthen WoG communications efforts in sensing, analysis and responses.
What we are looking for
• At least 5 years of media or communications-related experience
• Good understanding of domestic and international current affairs
• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into insights and recommendations
• Able to network effectively at all levels of the organisation, work independently and as a team player
• Able to strategically view different issues from a WoG perspective
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work under the stress and uncertainties of a crisis
• Willing to work shift hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
