What the role is
What you will be working on
- Teaching in Digital Systems Design, Embedded Systems Programming and at least ONE of the following disciplines: Python /Java/ C Programming, Advanced Electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), Robot Operating System (ROS), AI / Machine Learning, FPGA.
- Prepare subject materials, assignments and assessments. Evaluate curriculum design, development, delivery and assessment to enhance its effectiveness.
- Stay current and responsive to changing trends in the profession and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communities.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials and student consultations to maintain and meet the necessary SAR-147 requirement to support teaching for Aerospace classes.
- Conduct and/or attend subject reviews and team meetings, Tracking and maintenance of student attendance.
- Involved in staff/student projects with industrial partners.
- Assume additional responsibilities if needed, e.g., support competition training for students, outreach activities to secondary schools, becoming club advisor, programme coordinator, etc.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical competency in at least TWO of the following areas:
a) Digital Systems Design
b) Embedded Programming
c) Java/ Python/ C programming
d) AI / Machine Learning
e) Internet of Things (IoT)
f) FPGA
- At least 3 years of relevant industry work experience.
- A team player with good communication skills and a passion for interacting with students.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
