What the role is
What you will be working on
The key duties and responsibilities are to:
Architect best practice design, operations and support of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure including Compute, Storage, Network and Security.
Recommend new services to complement and enhance infrastructure elements to streamline and support agile application development and deployment.
Lead continuous enhancement and exploratory work to design, develop, test and deploy security elements of new Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
Keep abreast of the latest industry cybersecurity practices and technologies as well as emerging threats and vulnerabilities and provide insights to CIO and CISO and recommend appropriate controls and solutions for implementation to enhance Maritime sector cybersecurity posture. Ensure that the MPA’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
Examine the detailed designs of all MPA IT and OT systems to assess the robustness and adequacy of various security designs and controls against the latest cyber threats and risks in Maritime sector, provide cybersecurity assessment to Ops-Tech cluster’s departments to develop optimised, scalable and maintainable frontend and backend software systems, and introduce security controls to protect application infrastructure.
What we are looking for
Accreditations such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC certifications or relevant accredited certifications in cybersecurity.
At least 3-5 years of experience in IT/ OT related role.
Good verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
