What the role is

The National Arts Council seeks a Senior Manager/Assistant Director to work in the Performing Arts (Theatre) department to provide support in the lead-up and execution of a key international platform for thought leadership and exchange of ideas for the global performing arts scene.

What you will be working on

You will be the overall project manager for International Society for Performing Arts (ISPA) Mid-Year Congress 2026, to lead in the preparation, execution and post-event evaluation of the Congress.

  • Manage NAC contractual obligations with ISPA.

  • Key liaison officer with ISPA international committee on project execution.

  • Manage the Organising Secretariat (i.e. organise and plan meetings).

  • End-to-end management of vendors, partners and stakeholders (i.e. negotiate terms, draft contracts, plan and execute).

  • Manage commissioned works with arts groups.

  • Operational lead for all aspects of event management (e.g. hospitality, on-site event logistics etc).

What we are looking for

  • Good degree.

  • Prior experience in project management in the Business-to-Business (B2B) events space is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Good written and communication skills.

  • Able to lead the organising team and manage internal and external stakeholders for the preparation, execution and post-evaluation of Singapore’s hosting for the ISPA Mid-Year Congress.

  • Strong time and project management skills.

  • Knowledge of the public sector procurement is an advantage.
