The incumbent's job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Plan, lead and carry out all engineering and administrative activities to ensure the continuous reliability of systems in support of operational requirements. - Manage and attend to instruments troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance, including after office hours to minimal disruption to operations. - Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize the performance of instruments and systems. - Responsible for managing Instrumentation & Control (I&C) equipment assets according to specified requirements, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity. - Maintain precise records of all I&C maintenance activities and instrument performance data to support informed decision-making and future planning. - Effectively manage the budget, including accurate cost estimation, procurement of necessary materials, and strategic resource allocation. - Oversee the entire procurement process, responsible for calling of Quotations, Tenders, and Smart Projects aimed at improving analyzer and instrumentation performance within the Water Supply Network. - Manage contracts related to I&C equipment and system, ensuring that all work performed by contractors aligns with project objectives and stays within budget constraints. - Collaborate effectively cross PUB departments/divisions, other government agencies, project consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and maintain clear, efficient communication. - Keep abreast of the latest technologies to enhance system reliability and improve overall productivity.

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. - Relevant experience in instrument replacement projects, PLC programming, data analytics, commissioning, troubleshooting, and the implementation of SCADA systems is preferred. Hands-on cybersecurity knowledge and practice, as well as experience in information security and AI-related projects, will be an advantage. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a good writing ability. - Highly self-motivated and driven, excelling both independently and as a valuable team player. Capable of working effectively under pressure and making critical operational and maintenance decisions. - Willing to work in peripheral regions of Singapore.
