What you will be working on

• Plan and manage all procurement activities conducted by the User Divisions to ensure timeliness of procurement and contract implementation. • Provide professional advice to Divisions on best practices in sourcing, contract management and supplier management practices. and manage inquiries from users of MDDI managed WOG contracts on procurement. • Manage the entire procurement process for the Divisions under officer’s purview, from review of documents, prepare submissions to seek approval for tender award to post-award contractual management (including contract inquiries, variations, renewal, early termination, debarment and non-performance). • Provide Divisions with advice and support in managing issues/irregularities that arise during the contract management stage, as part of MDDI’s Contract Management Framework. • Conduct spend analysis on procurement data to formulate procurement strategies and optimise tender requirements. • Review internal guidelines/SOPs/templates and support digitalisation projects or other ad-hoc initiatives to streamline processes

What we are looking for

• Background preferably in Business, Accountancy, Finance or equivalent. • Candidates with procurement experience and/or experience in the Public Sector with knowledge on Government Procurement procedures will be preferred. • Keen interest in developing as procurement professional. • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment and manage workload well • Must be able to work well in a team • Good analytical and communication skills Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
