The System Management Team manages and enhance our IT system and infrastructure, to ensure high-performance, scalability and cyber security robustness. The team also leads the drive for Innovation, Automation, and Digitalisation to improve efficiency, productivity and technology modernisation.

Senior Manager (System Management) will be responsible to oversee the IT technical aspects and managing, maintaining IT services and delivery to meet organisation needs. • Effectively engage and manage vendors to deliver digital solutions and services timely. • Understand the IT management and Cyber security policies to ensure development processes, procedure and systems comply with these policies and guidelines • Manage and review budget and billings to ensure prudent and transparent expenditure. • Implement, monitor and review new and existing controls to mitigate risks. • Analyse operation and service performance, to propose proactive measures to ensure operation availability, reliability, and quality. • Engage stakeholders to understand operation requirements and work to improve operation efficiency and performance. • Handle incident tickets and change request requirements to meet operation requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Cyber Security or related discipline • Strong tracking on-hand tasks and preserve to see to completion • Able to work independently • Candidate with certifications or knowledge in the area of Cyber Security may be advantageous • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

The Military Security Department (MSD)’s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF. MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF. It began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB). Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment. Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
