- Knowledge of and experience with relevant standards and schemas including MARC standards, RDA, LCSH and LCC, and with library and cataloguing systems such as SirsiDynix Symphony and OCLC Connexion
- Experience in serials cataloguing, electronic resources management, archiving, digital asset management systems and discovery tools/services
- Familiarity with collection organisation, management and discovery; able to lead and supervise team
- IT-savvy with strong proficiency in MS Office suite of software, particularly Excel; experience with metadata management tools and software would be an advantage
- Knowledge of and ability to read mainland Southeast Asian languages (Thai, Burmese, etc.) is an advantage
- Organised and meticulous with attention to detail; independent self-starter who is able to multi-task, plan and complete duties with tight deadlines; good communicator and team player essential
- A degree in library science or similar experience is an advantage
- Minimum five-six years in a cataloguing/content organization & discovery role
