What the role is

NACLI aims to equip our learners with the relevant skillsets and growth mindset so that they can contribute actively and effectively to the community building efforts in Singapore. A Senior Learning Facilitator’s job role will include engaging stakeholders on training outreach initiatives, assessing learning needs, as well as planning, designing, developing, and delivering training programmes. They will also evaluate learning effectiveness of training programmes for PA staff, grassroots leaders and other target groups so that they can (i) better support PA’s role in building and bridging communities, and (ii) contribute more meaningfully and effectively to the community building and engagement process in Singapore.

What you will be working on:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, design and develop training curriculum and programmes for learners that include staff of People’s Association, grassroots leaders, student leaders and relevant public agencies.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and regular reviews of training programmes.
  • Experiment with multiple training modalities and leverage tech-enabled and other innovative instructional methods to enhance learner engagement and increase effectiveness of learning interventions.
  • Engage stakeholders and other partners in the course development and delivery process in support of training outreach initiatives.
  • Facilitate training delivery to ensure positive learning experience for learners.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness of training courses and programmes.
  • Plan and execute both synchronous and asynchronous training programmes of various modalities.
     

What we are looking for:

Requirements:

  • Must be able to conduct training on weekends
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a training environment or equivalent
  • Possess strong presentation, writing and communication skills
  • Professional qualifications in Adult Learning, Training & Development or Social Sciences will be added advantage
  • Demonstrate forward-looking and innovative mindset, as well as strong tech orientation to experiment with and facilitate learning of the future
  • Possess applied knowledge and experience in facilitating adult training, courseware development and/or learning technology design and implementation, preferably in community and social development sectors


Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Successful candidates will be given a 3-year contract position in PA on a perm estab.
